Alongside writing, Lynn teaches creative writing face-to-face and online. Please get in touch if you’d be interested in attending a class or having Lynn run a class for your organisation.
As a teacher, Lynn’s focus is on enabling and inspiring everyone to write and tell their stories. She teaches community creative writing classes that support personal growth and improved wellbeing, and finds it hugely satisfying to see new voices given an opportunity to develop and be heard. She also teaches adult education evening classes and online courses. She combines creativity and practicality to de-mystify creative writing, and creates a safe and encouraging space for people to try out new ideas. As well as supporting experimentation with words and stories, Lynn provides writers with the tools they need to start and complete a novel.
In addition, Lynn uses her communication skills to support creatives with business development.

‘Lynn was encouraging and positive, having great enthusiasm for writing. I found the teaching examples she provided really useful and easy to understand. Lynn led friendly discussions within the group, creating an environment in which everyone felt comfortable to contribute. If it hadn’t been for Lynn’s advice I never would have considered applying for a masters in Creative Writing. But thanks to her I have been accepted.’
